Research outcomes using the Hepa 1-6 cell line (RCB1638), which is
provided by this cell bank, have been published.

The Hepa 1-6 cell line is mouse-derived and expresses albumin,
alpha-fetoprotein, alpha-1-antitrypsin, and amylase. This cell line is a
model primarily used for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) research, and it
is considered useful for studying liver cancer progression and drug
response. Recently, research results using the Hepa 1-6 cell line were
published in a paper.

Hepa 1-6 cells are being used as a liver cancer cell model to analyze
why immunotherapy drugs are less effective against liver cancer.

This year's heat wave in Japan was brutal, but I'm relieved to finally
feel the autumn breeze. I plan to go out soon to enjoy the flavors of
the season. K.N.
