I am Kazuaki Nakamura, who has been appointed Head of the Cell Engineering Division at the RIKEN BioResource Research Center effective April 2025.
I am deeply honoured to be given this important role at RIKEN, one of Japan’s leading research institutions, and I am determined to fulfil my responsibilities with the utmost dedication.
The Cell Engineering Division provides researchers with stable and high quality cell material through its Cell Bank Programme.
This programme plays an important role in supporting the research infrastructure. In the future, we will continue to improve the Cell Bank Programme, while striving to make further advances in bio-resource research.
