As a result, the preparation and provision of these materials require an extended period of time.<br \/>\nWe sincerely regret to inform you that <strong>we will temporarily suspend the acceptance of new requests for unprepared cell stocks<\/strong> until further notice.<br \/>\nThe expected timeline for resumption is currently undetermined. <strong>An announcement will be posted on this website once the service is reinstated.<\/strong><br \/>\nWe apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>General cell lines (RCB)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 15px;\">\u25cf\u3000We are providing many cell lines derived from human and other various animals.<\/p>\n<p>In relation to human-derived cell lines:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 15px;\">\u25cf\u3000Human-derived cell lines are useful for many kinds of research, and thus we are providing them for various researches including analyses of gene and genome. We provide this collection not only to domestic users in Japan but also to users in overseas, in addition not only to not-for-profit institutions but also to for-profit institutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 15px;\">\u25cf\u3000The majority of human-derived cell lines are cancer cell lines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 15px;\">\u25cf\u3000In addition to the cell material itself, we are providing information about gender, age and the name of disease from which each donator was suffering. When we possess the information of gene and\/or genome, we provide them as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 15px;\">\u25cf\u3000After the providing procedures including a conclusion of an MTA (material transfer agreement), we provide this collection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 15px;\">\u25cf\u3000This collection including its information is strictly preserved by the RIKEN BioResource Research Center.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 15px;\">\u25cf\u3000The cell lines are anonymous. These cell lines are classified as Restriction &#8220;b&#8221; or &#8220;c&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">In case of &#8220;b&#8221; or &#8220;c&#8221;, you need to obtain the Approver\u0081fs consent. Please fill in &#8220;Approval Form&#8221; and send it to the Approvers for their permission. &#8220;Approvers&#8221; can be contacted via Fax or airmail at the addresses listed on the website and catalog.
